RHCT COFFEE BAR PROJECT
You are all invited to the GRAND OPENING of the COSSART EXCHANGE, FEBRUARY 12th. We are a participant of the Cossart Exchange and we have our own coffee bar to give people on opportunity to experience our locally roasted, fairtrade, organic coffee. We will be focusing on slowbrew green methods to highlight how good coffee, especially our coffee, can be!
The Cossart Exchange is also an associate member of TED, a small nonprofit community devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading, and will be hosing the 2010 conference, via satellite, February 11-13th. We will be at the C.E. during the conference, so please stop by and say hi! The Cossart Exchange is located upstairs beside Liason College, in Jackson Square, next to the Food Festival food court.
The Coffee Bar is a project and we will continue to update how and when our Coffee Bar will be open to you.
RHCT & the Royal Botanical Gardens
We are particpating with the Royal Botanical Gardens and their upcoming exhibit “Amazon Voyage, Vicious Fishes, and Other Riches”. The Exhibit runs from February 6 to April 11, 2010, at the Camilla and Peter Dalglish Atrium; RBG Centre. It was developed by the Miami Science Centre and Aquarium and this 5000 sq. ft. exhibition explores the seven perils of the Amazon River. You’ll learn about the river’s ecosystems and residents with interactive displays, live animals and other exciting programs.
RHCT is part of the other exciting programs. February 21 & March 21 are the dates where we will providing samples of our coffee from Colombia, Bolivia, and Peru and promoting the benefits of FairTrade and Organic.

CANADA READS 2010 (updated book profiles)
Canada Reads celebrates five Canadian books for three months online, at public events and on air. It all leads up to a week-long show hosted by Jian Ghomeshi.
In this annual title fight, five celebrity panelists defend their favourite work of Canadian fiction. One by one, books are voted off the list, until one panelist triumphs with the book for Canada to read this year.
The half-hour debates will air on CBC Radio One from March 8 to March 12, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. (3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. in Newfoundland). The program will also air on CBC's digital channel bold from March 8 to 12 at 6:00 p.m. ET (7:30 p.m. NT, 3:00 p.m. PT) and on Sirius 137 on the same dates at 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. ET; it will also be available online and via podcast.
